For potential heart attack victims, our Emergency Department can receive 12-lead EKGs from EMS providers while they are transporting patients to the hospital. This alerts the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and surgical teams, which are on standby 24/7. Heart attack patients often can bypass the ER and go right to the cath lab, saving precious minutes.
Valley Regional Medical Center is capable of caring for trauma patients with a variety of injuries. Valley Regional Medical Center has trauma surgeons, orthopedic surgeons, and neurosurgeons on-call and available 24 hours a day.
