Pastoral Services

Healthcare is all about meeting people’s needs: physical, emotional, and spiritual. The Pastoral Care Services Department recognizes this and provides the following services to address the emotional and spiritual needs of the patients, the patient’s family and staff.

  • Ethical consultation about treatment and end-of-life issues
  • Bereavement/grief support group four sessions in English and Spanish
  • Crisis intervention support
  • Networking with local churches and spiritual care providers
  • Prayer, ritual and sacraments
  • Worship services
  • Pastoral care education and training with the ministry volunteer program
  • Spiritual assessment as part of a treatment team
  • Support for staff on personal and professional issues
  • Pastoral care services available after hour for emergencies
  • Chapel available for prayer service by family or clergy requests (needs to be scheduled)
  • “The Medicine of Compassion," video-training for staff

Religious Services Schedule:

  • Catholic service - Saturday 3:00 p.m.
  • Special Holiday Services to be announced
  • The Chapel is located at the main entrance of the hospital and is open 24/7
