Drive Through Phlebotomy

As part of our Outpatient Services, Valley Regional Medical Center is now offering a new laboratory option for patients with mobility issues: drive through phlebotomy.

What does this mean? It allows patients to have their blood drawn without ever leaving the car. Patients must be over 18 years of age, have mobility issues that make entering the hospital a challenge, and be the passenger in the car. As a safety precaution, you will not be allowed to drive home on your own.

Drive through phlebotomy hours are from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., Monday - Friday. Appointments are required and can be made by calling 350-7233.

It’s our goal to make quality healthcare as accessible to everyone as possible, and we think drive through phlebotomy is just one way we can do that. Please let us know other ways we can better serve you in the future.
