Pastoral services
Spiritual services are an important part of healing and many people find comfort in their faith during times of illness or personal health crises. Our hospital pastoral care is non-denominational and serves everyone’s spiritual needs. We work with local churches in the event a patient would like their own clergy member to meet with them.
Our hospital chapel is open 24/7 and is located at the main entrance of the hospital. A non-denominational prayer service is held every Saturday at 3:00pm in our chapel.
Special holiday services are also held and the Chapel is available for prayer service at the request of families or clergy if scheduled.

Patient care-focused programs
The DAISY Award
The DAISY Award is an international recognition program that honors and celebrates the skillful, compassionate care nurses provide every day. Patients, visitors, nurses, physicians and employees are invited to nominate a Valley Regional Medical Center nurse deserving of this award.
The BEE Award
The BEE (Being Exceptional Every Day Award) recognizes those colleagues whose work to enhance our patients’ experience is indispensable. These providers – who may be patient care techs, surgical techs, mental health techs, monitor techs, unit secretaries or others – support our clinical providers to ensure each patient receives the highest levels of medical care.
