Brownsville, Texas — Valley Regional Medical Center is proud to announce the launch of comprehensive palliative care services, now available through our hospitalist group, HNI Healthcare®. This new offering reflects our ongoing commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care and aims to support patients and families facing serious illness.
Our dedicated palliative care team provides expert support in:
- Symptom management and emotional support
- Goals-of-care discussions to ensure treatment aligns with each patient’s values and preferences
- Collaborative care involving primary physicians, nursing staff, case managers, social workers, and chaplains
Service Availability:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Consultation Process:
Consults are initiated by the primary care team. Once requested, our Palliative Care Specialists conduct a thorough evaluation and share personalized recommendations with the attending physician.
